Contact Healthy Wisdom Age

Use this page to ask a question about the site's content, flag something that needs correcting, or send feedback on a guide. We read every message. We cannot give personal health advice or interpret individual readings, and we will say so rather than guess.

Messages are read by the Healthy Wisdom Age team during office hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

What we can help with

Questions about how a page is written, requests for clarification on a technical term, and corrections to factual errors are all welcome. If a section on validation, cuff sizing, or measuring technique is unclear, tell us which page and which part, and we will look at it.

Feedback on which topics would be useful also helps. The site covers a defined subject area, so suggestions that fit within home blood pressure monitoring and NHS pathways are the ones we can act on.

A message is easier to answer when you quote the heading you are asking about. Copy the sentence you were reading, paste it in, and tell us what did not land. That saves a round of back-and-forth and usually gets you a sharper reply.

What we cannot help with

Clinical questions belong with the NHS

We cannot tell you whether your blood pressure is too high or too low, whether you should change medication, or what a specific reading means for you. Those questions need your GP, practice nurse, or NHS 111, who have your history and can examine you.

If you are experiencing chest pain, severe headache, breathlessness, visual disturbance, or weakness on one side of the body, contact NHS 111 or emergency services rather than this form.

Do not wait for a reply from this page if you feel unwell now.

How to reach us

Write to us at the address below, or call during office hours. If you prefer to use the form on this page, include the page name and a short description of your question so we can route it correctly.

Before you call

Have the page you were reading open, and a sentence about what you need. If your question is about a reading, we will point you to the NHS service that can help rather than guess at an answer.

We are an information site, not a clinic. Nobody here can examine you, and we do not hold medical records.

Send your message

Tell us which page you are writing about and what you would like clarified. Short messages are fine. If you are reporting a correction, include the wording you think is wrong.

Contact details submitted through this form are used to reply to your message. They are not used for marketing and are not passed to third parties. The privacy policy explains how information is handled.

Please do not send

Personal readings asking what they mean, medication questions, or anything urgent. Those belong with your GP, practice nurse, or NHS 111.

We aim to reply within a few working days. See the privacy policy for how your details are used.

Reviewed by a person, not a queue

What happens after you send a message

Your message is received by the Healthy Wisdom Age team and reviewed by the person best placed to answer it. Expect a reply within a few working days. If your question relates to a factual correction, we will confirm once the page has been reviewed.

We do not use contact details for marketing, and we do not pass them to third parties. The privacy policy sets out how information submitted through this site is handled.

Within a few working days A written reply from the person who reviewed your question.
Clinical questions A short reply pointing you to the right NHS service, rather than an attempt at an answer.
Corrections A confirmation once the page has been checked and, where needed, updated.

Response times and limits

Typical reply

We aim to reply within a few working days, though volume varies.

Clinical questions

Questions that require clinical judgement will receive a short reply directing you to the appropriate NHS service rather than an attempt at an answer.

If you hear nothing

If you have not heard back within a week, resend your message. Occasionally a form submission does not arrive, and a second attempt usually resolves it.

We answer in English, and we answer one message at a time. Long threads about a single guide are welcome, but we cannot take on a back-and-forth about individual readings.

Questions people ask before writing

Short answers to the three things visitors ask most often about contacting this site.

How quickly will I get a reply?

We aim to respond within a few working days. Questions that need clinical judgement get a short reply pointing you to the right NHS service, which is usually faster than waiting for us.

Can I ask about my own blood pressure readings?

You can ask, but we cannot interpret them. We do not have your history and we do not provide clinical advice. Your GP, practice nurse, or NHS 111 are the right contacts.

Will you use my email address for anything else?

No. Contact details submitted through this site are used to reply to your message and nothing else. The privacy policy explains this in full.

Ask the question you actually have

Corrections, unclear wording and topic suggestions all get read. If a sentence on one of the guides did not make sense the first time, that is worth telling us, because the next reader will hit the same line.
